丁卫平，博士，教授，博士生导师，博士生后合作导师，南通大学人工智能与计算机学院院长，不确定性人工智能与脑认知研究团队负责人，兼任西交利物浦大学访问教授、澳门城市大学博士生导师。2013年毕业于南京航空航天大学，获工学博士学位，2014-2015年在中国台湾交通大学从事博士后研究，近年来应邀以访问学者身份先后赴加拿大University of Lethbridge、新加坡National University of Singapore、澳大利亚University of Technology Sydney、香港理工大学等进行学术访问和科研合作研究。担任江苏省计算机学会常务理事，江苏省人工智能学会理事，IEEE高级会员，CCF高级会员，CCF人工智能与模式识别专委会委员，CAAI粒计算与知识发现专委会常务委员，CAAI智能服务专委会委员，江苏省人工智能学会数据挖掘与应用专委会副主任委员，国家自然科学基金重点项目、面上和青年基金、中国博士后科学基金评审专家。连续5年(2020-2024)入选美国斯坦福大学全球前2%顶尖科学家榜单 (World's Top 2% Scientists), 其中2024年入选“终身科学影响力排行榜”，入选国际学术机构ScholarGPS发布了2024年全球前0.05%顶尖科学家榜单（全球排名1021），江苏省高层次人才培养计划“333工程”第二层次培养对象，江苏省“六大人才高峰”高层次人才，江苏省“青蓝工程”中青年学术带头人，江苏省“青蓝工程”优秀青年骨干教师，南通市“226 高层次人才培养工程”第二层次培养对象，以及国际顶尖期刊《IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica》 杰出副主编(Outstanding Associate Editor)。近年来主要研究方向为人工智能及计算智能、多模态机器学习及优化、深度神经网络、粒计算及其在不确定大数据中应用。

主持和主要参加国家重点研发计划“战略性科技创新合作”重点专项、国家自然科学基金民航联合重点项目、国家自然科学基金面上和青年项目、江苏省自然科学基金、江苏省高校自然科学研究重大项目、江苏省现代农机装备与技术推广项目等各类科研项目20余项。在国际期刊《IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems》,《IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems》,《IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering》，《IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics》,《IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation》,《IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems》,《IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems》,《IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering》,《IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica》,《IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics》,《IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems》,《IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence》,《IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Vehicles》,《IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence》,《 Information Fusion》,《Information Science》,《Knowledge-Based Systems》,《Expert Systems with Applications》等上发表相关学术论文360余篇，其中IEEE Transactions 论文170余篇，21篇论文入选 “ESI高被引论文”，授权发明专利43项，其中美国发明专利3项，澳大利亚发明专利1项。相关成果获ICDMA最佳学术论文奖，江苏省高等学校科学技术研究成果奖一等奖，江苏省教育教学与研究成果奖三等奖，江苏医学科技奖二等奖，江苏省高等教育科研成果三等奖等。
