Basic Information Name: Tao Ming (Male, June 1986)
Title: Professor
Research Directions: Focus on the research and application system development of key technologies in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Unmanned Systems, including End-Edge-Cloud Collaborative Intelligence, Digital Twin, Computing Power Network, and Computer Vision.
Personal Profile: Vice Dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology (School of Cyberspace Security), Dongguan University of Technology. He is a Master's Supervisor and a Postdoctoral Supervisor of the Guangdong Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base. He has been selected into the "Thousand-Hundred-Ten Talent Cultivation Project" of Guangdong Higher Education Institutions, recognized as an Outstanding Young Teacher of Guangdong Universities, Outstanding Teacher of Dongguan City, and Distinguished Talent of Dongguan City. He has won the First Prize of the Science and Technology Award of the China Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology Industrialization, the First Prize of the Dongguan Science and Technology Progress Award, the Innovative Dongguan Youth Science and Technology Award, and 4 Best Paper Awards from well-known international academic conferences.
He holds multiple academic positions, including Chairman of the Dongguan Branch of the China Computer Federation (CCF), Vice Chairman of the IoT and Network Special Committee and the Mobile Internet Special Committee of the Guangdong Computer Society, Vice President of the Dongguan Artificial Intelligence Society, Honorary Member of the Guangzhou Chapter of the CCF Young Computer Scientists & Engineers Forum (CCF YOCSE), and Member of the CCF Special Committees on Internet, Computer Applications, IoT, Network and Communication, Pervasive Computing, and Service Computing. He also serves as a Reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), a Certified Expert of the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, a Certified Expert of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, and a Certified Expert of the "Science and Technology Dongguan" Program of Dongguan City. In addition, he has worked as an organizer for several well-known international conferences (CCF Class C), such as IEEE ISPA, MSN, ICPADS, ICA3PP, and CSCWD. He is the Topic Editor of the journal series Application of Smart Technologies in Buildings (SCI-indexed) and a former Guest Editor of the International Journal of High Performance Computing and Networking (EI-indexed).
