郭圣文,男,博士,教授,博士生导师。华南理工大学自动化科学与工程学院、国家人体组织功能重建工程技术研究中心教授,兼任广东省老年痴呆诊断与康复工程技术研究中心副主任。2004年毕业于东南大学生物电子学国家重点实验室,获工学博士学位,毕业后,到华南理工大学生物医学工程系任教。2008 年至2010 年,2015年先后赴美国Case Western Reserve University与University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign等高校从事医学影像与多模态图像分析方面的研究。
主讲《C++程序设计》、《医学图像处理》、《医学成像技术》与《可视化技术》等本科和硕士课程。
研究方向:(1) 医学影像处理与分析;(2) 生物医学信号检测与分析;(3)医疗人工智能;(4)混合现实技术。以肿瘤及心、脑、肾等重大疾病为研究对象,利用统计分析理论、最优化方法及人工智能技术,对多模态医学影像、生理信号、生化指标及基因信息等进行处理和分析,为疾病的早期
诊断、分类、治疗方案制定和预后等,提供定性与定量的可靠依据,实现计算辅助精确诊治。
研发了一系列医学影像分析系统及软件,包括高精度实时三维可视化、多模态医学影像配准与融合、基于内容的医学影像搜索、医学影像运动校正、医用胶片中重要文本信息的自动提取与识别、显微图像的自动分割与量化分析等系统;
研制人体阻抗检测与健康状态检测仪,利用中医经络理论,应用精确的检测技术与人工智能理论方法,量化评估人体(亚)健康状态,给予预警与指导;评估治疗(针灸、中药)治疗前后的人体阻抗变化;
研究医疗混合现实技术(MR),以患者影像数据为基础,应用人工智能方法进行分割、配准与三维建模,生成三维全息模型。与真实空间进行融合,医生借助MR眼镜,可逼真、全面观察组织结构和病灶细节,制定精确的手术方案。
主持国家自然基金项目1项,广东省科技计划项目1项,广州市重点项目1项,企业委托技术开发项目3项,作为主要成员参加国家自然基金重点项目和面上项目共2项。共计发表学术论文60余篇,其中被三大索引收录30多篇,参与编写英文专著1部,授权发明专利10多项。

Dr. Shengwen Guo is a professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering of South China University of Technology, National Engineering Research Center for Tissue Restoration & Reconstruction(NERC-TRE). He received his PhD from the Southeast University(China) in 2004 and was a visiting scholar in 2015 at Beckman Institute, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he was a postdoctoral research fellow between 2008 and 2010 at the Department of Radiology, Case Western Research University and Alcorn State University.
His current work focuses on the studies of medical imaging and image analysis. Specifically, Dr. Guo's group has:
(1) Based on the multiple biomarkers including biochemical indicators, genetic markers and neuroimaging data, developed discriminative analysis and automatic classification on the major chronic neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease(AD), epilepsy, and depression. It aims to explore the pathogenesis, process and progress of these diseases , which leads to early detection and diagnosis, risk prediction, timely intervention and effective treatment;
(2) Investigated characteristics of intravascular ultrasound microbubbles, revealed the ultrasound microbubble motion and deformation, interaction with the ultrasound excitation, vascular structure and function, provided important theoretical basis and guidance for early detection of vascular lesion and targeted drug therapy;
(3) Developed a series of medical image analysis systems and application software, including three-dimensional visualization system(3D MedVis), multi-modal medical image registration and fusion software, motion correction, content-based medical image retrieval engine(CBMIR), quantitative analysis and motion tracing of microscopic images, etc.
Dr. Guo has authored or co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles. He is performing research in medical imaging and image processing supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Science and Technology Planning Project of Guangdong Province, and the China Scholar Council. He was ever peer reviewers of international journals such as IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Signal Processing and Optics Letter, etc.
