朱鉴，湖南邵阳人。高中毕业于邵阳市第二中学。2005年以优异的成绩(GPA: 3.9)从中山大学数学与计算科学学院数学系获得学士学位, 取得免试研究生资格，并被评为中山大学优秀毕业生。后由国家教育部推荐获得全额奖学金，前往澳门大学科技学院攻读软件工程硕士学位。

2008年8月硕士毕业后，获全额奖学金留校继续攻读软件工程博士学位，研究领域为计算机图形学，指导老师为吴恩华教授，副导师为香港中文大学的王平安教授和孙汉秋教授，于2013年3月获得博士学位。

朱鉴从2013年8月开始在澳门大学科技学院从事博士后研究， 主要研究课题包括基于物理的流体模拟和基于图像的建模与绘制，至今已发表相关论文超过15篇。主要研究兴趣包括：真实感图形图像合成、基于物理的模拟、3D游戏开发、虚拟现实、图形硬件加速以及数字图像处理等多媒体新技术。

Introduction

I got a BSc degree in Mathematics from Sun Yat-sen (Zhongshan) University in 2005. During my undergraduate study, I received many awards and honors, and was finally ranked No.1 with a GPA of 3.9. I was then recommended to pursue a Msc degree in Software Engineering at the University of Macau (UM) , with the support of a full scholarship.

From Sep. 2008 to Mar. 2013, I was a PhD student in UM, doing research on Computer Graphics, supervised by Prof. Enhua WU, with Prof. Pheng-Ann Heng and Prof. Hanqiu Sun from the Chinese University of Hong Kong as my co-supervisors.

I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow in UM, guided by Prof. Enhua WU. My research is mainly on Physically based Fluid Simulation and Image-based Modeling and Rendering, until now I have published more than 15 papers. My research interests include: Realistic Image Synthesis, Physically Based Simulation, 3D Games, Virtual Reality, Graphics Hardware Acceleration, Image processing, etc.
