Yu Wang (born September 1996) is a native of Dongtai, Jiangsu Province, and received his degree from the School of Communication and Information Engineering at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NUPT). He is currently a President-appointed Professor at NUPT.
In recent years, his research has mainly focused on physical layer security and ubiquitous sensing. He has published over 100 SCI/EI-indexed papers in top-tier journals such as IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials, IEEE JSAC, IEEE TWC, IEEE TIFS, IEEE TGRS, Information Fusion, IEEE IoT-J, IEEE TVT, IEEE WCL, IEEE CL, and Journal on Communications. More than 20 of these are SCI papers where he is the first or corresponding author. His work has been cited over 4,000 times on Google Scholar, with 6 ESI Highly Cited Papers.
He has presided over several projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth Program) and the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation (Youth Program), as well as multiple enterprise-funded and JKW collaboration projects.
He has held key organizational roles in several international conferences (e.g., IEEE ICCT, EAI ADHIP, RICAI), and serves as a young editorial board member for several journals. He is also a member of the Defense Big Data Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation, and the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Command and Control Society.
