BIOGRAPHY
Liu Huazhong, born in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, China. Research Professor and Ph.D./M.S. Supervisor. Principal Investigator and Chief Scientist of a National Key R&D Program of China. Deputy Director of the Ministry of Education's Joint International Research Laboratory. Category-B Talent of Hainan Province and recipient of the Hainan “Thousand Talents Program.”Vice Dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology, Hainan University, and Head of the Artificial Intelligence Discipline. IEEE TCSC Outstanding Young Scientist, IEEE HITC Outstanding Young Scientist, Secretary-General of the IEEE TCSC Technical Committee, and Secretary-General of the Hainan Provincial Steering Committee for Computer-related Majors. Executive Member of the CCF Technical Committee on Cooperative Computing. Certified Senior Engineer in Engineering (Information Systems Project Management Professional) and Project Manager of Computer Information System Integration. His main research interests include big data precision analytics, efficient large-scale computing, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technologies. He has led over ten major research projects, including the National Key R&D Program of China, National Natural Science Foundation (General and Regional Programs), and key provincial-level science and technology initiatives in Hainan Province. He has published over 50 academic papers in top-tier venues, including CCF A-ranked conferences, IEEE/ACM Transactions, and journals in the top quartile (Q1) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences ranking. He has served as Program Chair of IEEE UIC 2024 (CCF C), IEEE Cybermatics Congress 2023, IEEE GPC 2021, and IEEE SmartData 2020/2019, as well as Executive Chair of IEEE Metaverse 2022. His honors include the IEEE ComSoc TCBD Best Journal Paper Award, IEEE TCSC Outstanding Ph.D. Dissertation Award, IEEE Best Leadership Award, and several provincial-level awards, such as Second Prizes for Teaching Achievement, Excellent Research Achievement, Multimedia Courseware Competition, and a Third Prize for Teaching Competition.
