Peiyan Yuan received the B.S., the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Henan Normal University, Xinxiang, China, Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, China, and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing, China, respectively, all in computer science. He also worked as a post doctoral researcher at the University of Texas at Dallas, USA. He is a professor of Computer Science, a PhD supervisor, and the vice dean of software school at the Henan Normal University. He was elected as the Pingyuan Scholar in 2022 and the Young Scholar of Henan Province in 2019. He is a senior member of CCF and a member of ACM and IEEE, and the associate editor of EJWCN and JBD. 

His research interests include future networks and distributed systems, and he authored or coauthored more than sixty papers and one book in these fields. Three projects are granted by the NSFC and more than ten projects are granted by the Department of Education, Department of Science and Technology of Henan Province. He won the national scholarship for Ph. D students from Ministry of Education of the P. R. China in 2012, and he received three Best Paper Awards.  His students won the first prize of “Internet +” innovation competition and the second prize of mathematics modeling.

袁培燕，分别从河南师范大学、武汉理工大学、北京邮电大学计算机科学与技术专业获得学士、硕士、博士学位，美国德克萨斯大学达拉斯分校商学院信息系统系博士后。目前为河南师范大学教授，博士生导师，软件学院副院长，河南师范大学平原学者，河南省高等学校青年骨干教师；兼任中国计算机学会（CCF）高级会员，CCF物联网专委执行委员、计算机应用专委执行委员，河南省计算机学会理事，EJWCN/JBD副主编。

长期从事群智感知、移动边缘计算、分布式网络与系统的研究工作。主持国家自然科学基金3项（面上项目1项，联合基金2项），横向项目2项，河南省教育教学改革重点项目1项，河南省虚拟仿真一流课程1门。以第一作者或通信作者在IEEE TCC/IoTJ/ISJ/TVT/《软件学报》等国内外期刊以及IEEE/ACM MobiHoc/ICDCS等会议上发表论文60余篇，ESI高被引论文1篇，授权发明专利5项，软件著作权6项，出版学术专著1部，参编河南省十四五规划教材1部。获首届博士研究生国家奖学金、河南省高等教育教学成果二等奖1项，河南省教育厅科技成果一等奖1项，国际、国内学术会议最佳论文/广受关注学术论文3项。指导学生获河南省“互联网+”大学生创新创业大赛一等奖、数学建模全国二等奖等。目前培养已毕业研究生17人，培养在校研究生15人。
