Dr. Liguo Zhang is a Professor of environmental engineering in the School of Environment at South China Normal University (SCNU). He received his PhD (Environmental Engineering) from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). He also studied in Advanced Water Management Centre (AWMC) of the University of Queensland as a visiting scholar from 2017 Sep to 2018 Oct. He mainly works on biological wastewater treatment, sludge minimization and resource utilization. He is the member of International Water Association (IWA) and Chinese Chemical Society (CCS). His research was funded by Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Guangdong Key Research & Development Program and Guangdong Natural Science Foundation. His research has been published over 30 papers in journals including Water Res., ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces，J. Clean. Prod., Nanoscale, Water Sci. & Technol., etc.
