袁继红，女，湖南华容人，博士，教授，硕士生导师， 广东省高校第六批“千百十”工程培养对象，中国逻辑学会归纳逻辑委员会副秘书长，首批“广东省理论宣传青年优秀人才”。

    2006年毕业于中山大学哲学系，获哲学博士学位；2006年7月到广东财经大学任教，2015年晋升为教授。

    主持1项国家社科项目“计算社会科学的解释研究”（19BZX033），2项教育部项目“社会规范的自然化研究”（18YJA720017）；“社会科学哲学视野下的科学解释与人文理解”（13YJC720044）、1项广东省普通高校人文社科研究项目“行动合理性研究：从经济学和哲学的角度”（WYM11065）；出版1部学术专著《社会科学解释研究》（2009），1本学术译著《文人维特根斯坦》（主译，2008）；在《自然辩证法研究》、《自然辩证法通讯》、《科学技术哲学研究》等期刊上发表研究论文30余篇，其中数篇论文被人大复印资料《科学技术哲学》、《逻辑》全文转载。主编《科技史略》，参编《普通逻辑学》第三版（2015）。
