Description

Evolutionary Computation (EC) is a powerful approach inspired by the principles of biological evolution and natural selection. It has found numerous applications in the realm of the digital economy, where businesses and organizations are constantly seeking innovative solutions to gain a competitive edge. However, with the advent of the big data era and the prevalence of big language models, the optimization problems in various fields of the digital economy have gradually become complex, such as data being high-dimensional, large-scale, expensive, and dynamically uncertain. This brings a set of great challenges to the existing techniques of evolutionary computation. Therefore, the special session on "Evolutionary Optimization on Digital Economy Applications" is very much needed to encourage researchers to invest in the design of more effective mechanisms, strategies, and optimization methods to improve the ability of evolutionary computation techniques to solve complex optimization problems in various applications of the digital economy. Expectedly, this special session will greatly promote the development of theories and technologies related to evolutionary computation and successfully empower various industries in the digital economy.

The purpose of this special session on "Evolutionary Optimization on Digital Economy Applications" is to provide a forum for researchers in the field to develop cutting-edge optimization methodologies and apply them to solve critical complex optimization problems in various applications of the digital economy.
