Summary

I am currently a Full Professor and Doctoral Supervisor with the College of Automation & College of Artificial Intelligence, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NUPT). I received the Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in June 2014. I was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Faculty of Electronic Information Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University from Dec. 2019 to Nov. 2022. I was elevated to IEEE Senior Member in Feb. 2023. My research interests include optimization control of cyber-physical energy systems, grid-interactive efficient buildings, and deep reinforcement learning. I am the Principal Investigator for seven projects funded by the National Natural Science Fund of China, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Science and Technology Department of Jiangsu Province, and Education Department of Jiangsu Province. I have published a book and 48 scientific papers (including three ESI highly cited papers, and 28 SCI-indexed papers, Google citation count=2107, SCI count without self-citation=1300) in famous journals and conferences, e.g., IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems, IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Systems Journal, Building and Environment, and serve as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics and IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, as well as a reviewer for more than 30 SCI-indexed journals and many conferences, e.g., IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IGESC 2016, IECON 2016, WCSP 2016, WCSP 2017, IGESC 2017, IEEE VTC-Fall 2017, IEEE VPCC 2018, IGESC 2018, WCSP 2019, CAC2022, CCDC2023. Moreover, I have 17 authorized invention patents of China on energy management methods for smart buildings and smart grids. In addition, I have received several academic prizes or honors including 2022 IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid Best Paper Recognition (Ranked first among the top 5 papers), World's Top 2% Scientists (Single Year 2022), the Award for Hundred Excellent Academic Achievement Papers in Natural Science of Jiangsu Province in 2023, Higher Education Science and Technology Research Achievement Award of Jiangsu Province in 2023, the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award of Hubei Province in 2015, and the Prize for the Excellent Natural Science Paper of Nanjing City in 2018.
