Liu Baodi is an associate professor, master's supervisor, member of IEEE, ACM, CCF, and the Automation Society. He is a talent expert in intellectual property protection of the Shandong Province National Intellectual Property Protection Center, an expert in the Qingdao Science and Technology Expert Database, and an intellectual property technical investigator of the Intermediate People's Court of Jinan City. He is the deputy director of the Automation Department at China University of Petroleum (East China). He has long been engaged in research on machine learning theory and its application in digital image processing. He has presided over more than ten projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation, Shandong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, Qingdao Science and Technology Plan, etc. He has published more than 100 academic papers with over 840 academic Google citations, and has been granted 7 national invention patents as the first inventor. He has received numerous awards, including the first prize for scientific and technological progress in the Qingdao Science and Technology Award (ranking third), the second prize for natural science of the Automation Society (ranking second), the Outstanding Award for the China Industry-University-Research Collaboration Innovation Achievement Award (ranking fourth), and the first prize for scientific and technological progress in the Shandong Province Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award (ranking third).
