My current publications mainly focus on two areas: 1) Medical Sociology: End-of-life care and general eldercare issues, health issues of the mar.ginalized, and health ethics, 2) Health Social Work. I have published one monograph with Springer Nature (Palgrave Macmillan), one edited volume with Routledge, and numerous peer-reviewed journal articles including 16 first-authored or corresponding-authored SSCI/SCI journal articles. I have obtained an MOE (Ministry of Education in China) Project of Humanities and Social Sciences as PI, a China Postdoctoral Science Foundation project as PI, and other non-national research projects. I have also taken part in national reality TV shows to advocate palliative care, organized fundraising events for the terminally-ill patients, and taken on the role of supervision for medical social workers in numerous institutions, and so on. I have been designated as the editorial board member and section editor for health in (Nature) Humanities and Social Science Communications (SSCI Q2) and (BMJ) Family Medicine and Community Health (SCIE). I have been able to guest editing special issues for Asia Pacific Viewpoint (SSCI Q1), 中国全科医学/China General Medicine (中文双核心，医学综合类第一). In 2022, I was given the honor of Sichuan Provincial Social Work Advanced Talents (四川省高层次社会工作专业人才).
