The main researches are urban ecology, forest ecology, and tree diversity, with a focus on the geographical evolution of ancient trees and the conservation of urban tree diversity. Currently serving as a council member of the National Innovation Alliance for the Southern Woody Flower Industry, and a youth editorial board member for *Acta Agronomica Sinica* and *Journal of Xihua Normal University (Natural Science Edition)*. Regularly reviews manuscripts for international journals under publishing groups such as Springer-Nature, Elsevier, Wiley, Cambridge University Press, and Pensoft. Has led or participated in over 10 national and provincial-level projects, published more than 100 papers as the first or corresponding author, received a B-level award in the National Ecological Civilization Informatization Teaching Achievement Selection, a first prize in the Jiangsu University Micro-Course Teaching Competition, and other teaching awards. Edited and published one Chinese and one English textbook, authored two monographs, and obtained one authorized national invention patent and four utility model patents.
