Call for Individuals/Researchers
We are seeking individuals/researchers on both postgraduate (postdoctoral student) or graduate (PhD candidate) levels for a neuro-computational project on artificial intelligence that combines brain imaging, computational modelling, and mental disorder (like schizophrenia). This is a multinational project lead by UK/Karl Friston and Canada/Georg Northoff (www.georgnorthoff.com), with co-investigator Maia Fraser (Canada/Ottawa). The individuals in question should have background in mathematics (preferred topology), computer science/engineering (preferred reinforcement learning), engineering (preferred time series analysis), and/or neuroscience (excellent computational skills and expertise in brain imaging analyses/fMRI-EEG). PhD can be obtained through University of Ottawa in the respective discipline. All individuals will be integrated in a multinational team in Ottawa/Canada with extensive connections and exchange possibilities in Japan (University of Tokyo), China/Zhejiang University in Hangzhou), Taiwan (Yangmin and Jiaotong University), Germany (University of Frankfurt) and UK (University College London).
