Zhiru Cao received the B.S. degree in Building Electricity & Intelligence from Nanjing Tech University, Nanjing, China, in 2016. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. degree in Control Science & Engineering at East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai, China. From November 2018 to February 2019, she was a Research Assistant with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, The University of Hong Kong. She is now a Visiting Ph.D. Student with the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, Brunel University London, Uxbridge, U.K. Her current research areas are Markovian jump systems, sliding mode control, and finite-time control.
