杨薛明, 工学博士,现为华北电力大学动力工程系副教授。1996年获机械学专业结构强度分析方向硕士学位;2007年获电工理论与新技术专业信息分析与处理方向博士; 2009年曾赴美国匹兹堡大学从事新能源材料方向博士后研究。共发表论文近50余篇,其中SCI收录20余篇。

目前主持国家自然科学基金面上项目及河北省自然科学基金面上项目各一项;参与国家自然科学基金青年项目1项,参与河北省自然科学基金面上项目1项。参与完成河北省科技攻关项目两项,主持完成中央高校基金面上项目1项;参与国家科技支撑计划1项,参与主研完成横向项目十余项。
