BIOGRAPHY

Chuntao Wang received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Sun Yat-sen University, China, in 2002 and 2007, respectively.

He worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Korea University, Korea, from October 2007 to September 2008. During November 2008 through October 2010, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sun Yat-sen University. Since 2011, he has been with the College of Mathematics and Informatics, South China Agricultural University, China.

His research interests include information hiding and multimedia signal processing. He has published more than 50 papers in these areas, among which near 20 papers are indexed by SCI and more than 10 are indexed by EI. Also, he received the National Natural Science Fund of China (Grant No. 62172165, 61672242, and 61202467), Key-Area Research and Development Program of GuangDong Province (Grant No. 2019B020214002 and 2019B020215002-1), China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (Grant No. 20090460832), and the Scientific Research Foundation for Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars, the State Education Ministry.

He serves as the council member of Guangdong Society of Image and Graphics, Digital Forensics and Security Committee in China Society of Image and Graphics, Information technology branch of Chinese animal husbandry and Veterinary Association. Also, he is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and China Computer Federation (CCF). He is volunteer reviewers for a number of academic journals, e.g., IEEE Trans. on Information Forensics and Technology, IEEE Trans. on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs, Digital Signal Processing, Journal of Software and Systems, Signal Processing: Image Communication, Journal of Visual Communication and Image Representation, Journal of Info. Science and Engineering, and for several academic conferences like Intl. Workshop on Digital Watermarking, Intl. Symposium on Industrial Electronics, etc. In addition, he has been selected as the school-level cultivation object of the project termed University level training objects of "one hundred and ten talents training project" in Guangdong Province。
