Yu Liang, Associate Professor, Visiting Scholar at South China Normal University (Visiting Advisor: Professor Tang Yong), and External Master's Supervisor at South China Normal University. Currently serves as faculty member at the School of Computer Science, Guangdong University of Science and Technology, leading the development of the Internet of Things Engineering program and serving as Secretary of the Party Branch for IoT Engineering faculty. Director of the Guangdong AIoT Application Innovation Joint Laboratory, Deputy Director of the Dongguan AIoT Edge Computing Engineering Technology Research Center, core member of the Guangdong Intelligent Vehicle-Internet Engineering Technology Research Center, and Executive Director of the Data Intelligence Research Institute at Guangdong University of Science and Technology. Currently leads or participates in over 20 municipal/provincial-level projects (including 13 as principal investigator) and more than 30 university-level projects. Authored 3 textbooks (2 as chief editor, 1 as co-editor) and published over 40 academic papers. Nineteen papers are indexed in SCI and EI, with five featured in Chinese core journals. He has applied for over 20 patents, securing 16 authorizations, and holds 9 software copyright registrations. Individually, he has received more than 10 awards in teaching and research competitions, essay contests, and outstanding case studies. He has guided students to win over 40 awards at various levels in competitions. He serves as a technology review expert for Digital Guangdong, Shenzhen, and Dongguan, is a member of the China Computer Federation (CCF), and holds the position of Dongguan Science and Technology Special Envoy.
