LIU Zhihong was born in Shaoyang county, a countryside of Shaoyang, on 28th May 1978. He has obtained his Master's Degree in Mathematics from Changsha University of Science and Technology, Changsha (Capital of Hunan), in 2007. He received his Ph.D. degree from Hunan University in 2018. His Ph.D. thesis entitled “Some Researches on Planar Harmonic Mappings and Minimal Surfaces” was written under the supervision of Professor JIANG Yueping, Hunan University.  He had been a visiting researcher in Indian Statistical Institute (ISI ChennaiCenter) from July 2016 to June 2017. He has participated and delivered a series of invited talks in several scientific events held in India and China. His main research area is Harmonic mappings in the planar and the current research interests include Univalent Function Theory, Hyperbolic-type Metrics, and Harmonic Quasiconformal Mappings. He has been collaborating with researchers from India, China, and Finlad. Currently, he is working as a Lecture in the College of Science of Guilin University of Technology, Guilin, Guangxi.
