Biography

Jiajia Jiang is currently an Associate Professor of the State Key Lab of Precision Measuring Technology and Instruments at Tianjin University, China. He is currently Master Supervisor and Doctoral Supervisor of Tianjin University. He is also a Visiting Research Scholar of The University of Sheffield, United Kingdom from October 2017 to April 2018. He worked in Tianjin University from September 2014 till now. He received his B.S. degrees from HeBei Normal University and the M.S. and Ph.D degrees from TianJin University (State Key Lab of Precision Measuring Technology and Instruments) in 2014. His research interest focuses on the underwater acoustic detection/communication/signal processing, acoustic detection of marine and on-line measurement. He was selected as the "Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program" by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and selected as the third level of the "131" Innovative Talents Training Project of Tianjin City. He was selected as "Beiyang Scholar • Young Backbone Teacher" by Tianjin University and won the "National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation" of China Instrument and Control Society in 2016.

He is a Committee Member of the Youth Working Committee of China Instrument and Control Society, Member of IEEE, Member of Chinese Society for Measurement, Member of The Acoustical Society of China, Member of China Society of Image and Graphics, Technology Commissioner of Tianjin Meiteng Technology co. LTD, Senior Member of Academician Workstation.

As a Principle Investigator, he have presided 10 research projects, including national, provincial and corporate projects. He has published (or been accepted) more than 50 academic papers at academic journals and international conferences, including IEEE Communication Magazine, IEEE Sensor Journal, Review of Scientific Instruments, Applied Optics etc. One of his papers had been awarded the most popular paper by the IEEE Sensors Council in July 2013. Besides, he holds 16 invention patents and 24 utility model patents.

He is the reviewer for more than 10 SCI journals, such as IEEE Transactions on wireless communication, IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE Signal Processing Letter, IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation & Measurement, Multidimensional Systems and Signal Processing, Digital Signal Processing, Circuits, Systems & Signal Processing, IET Signal Processing, Review of Scientific Instruments, Electronics Letters, Wireless Personal Communications, Progress In Electromagnetics Research etc.

He won the "Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award" of Tianjin University in 2015. He guided undergraduate students to win the second prize of the National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest in 2015. He was awarded the title of "2016 and 2017 Outstanding Undergraduate Graduation Design Instructor" and won the "Tianjin University Shen Zhikang Award" and so on.
