Dr. Chao Liu is a full Professor at the college of economics and management, Tianjin University of Science & Technology. He is currently the Deputy Director of Logistics Management Department. His research interests focus on perishable product supply chains, behavioral operations management in supply chains, and green/sustainable supply chain management. As the first author, he published his work on main stream journals such as European Journal of Operational Research, Transportation Research Part E, Computers & Industrial Engineering etc. Prior to joining the university, he had extensive managerial working experience in the pharmaceutical industry such as Johnson & Johnson, and SmithKline Beecham.

He is the recepient of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No. 72271185) and the Humanities and Social Science Fund of Ministry of Education of China (Grant No. 20YJA630043). He also serves as the referee for the academic journals such as EJOR, CAIE, RAIRO-OR, JIMO and many others.
