

Prof. Bing-Kun Bao is currently the Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Dean with the School of Computer Science, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. Her research interests include artificial intelligence, multimedia computing, social media, and computer vision. Prof. Bao is a recipient of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) for Distinguished Young Scholars. She was a recipient of the 2016 ACM TOMM Nicolas D. Georganas Best Paper Award, IEEE Multimedia 2017 Best Paper Award, the Best Paper Award from ICIMCS’09, and the MMM’2019 Best Paper Runner-Up Award. She has been the Principal Investigator (PI) of several significant research projects, including the National Key Research and Development Program of China and the Key Program of NSFC. She received the Outstanding Area Chair from ICME 2020. She serves as the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications and Applications, and Multimedia Systems journal.
