Call for Participation: NLPTEA2017 Shared Task for Chinese Spelling Check
You are cordially invited to participate in the Shared Task of the 4th Workshop on NLP Techniques for Educational Applications, NLPTEA2017 (https://www.labviso.com/nlptea2017/). NLPTEA2017 is one of the workshops in the 8th International Conference on Natural Language Processing, IJCNLP2017 ,Taipei, Taiwan, China(http://ijcnlp2017.org/).
The goal of this task is to develop a computer-assisted system to automatically diagnose typing errors in Chinese sentences. Given a sentence, the system should identify all errors, indicate which kind of errors they are, and offer correction suggestions. More detail: https://www.labviso.com/nlptea2017/
Technical Report and Submission Format
Each participant must submit a technical report to describe the developed method and its testing results. The report will appear in the workshop proceedings and online archives.
At least one author of each accepted report will be required to register for presenting the developed system. This is the most valuable part of participating, as authors will be able to engage attendees in extended conversations about their work.
