You are cordially invited to participate in the International Conference on Education and Artificial Intelligence 2020 (ICEAI 2020) to be held at The Education University of Hong Kong from 9 to 11 November 2020.


This conference aims to bring together worldwide education pioneers and researchers to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Education and Artificial Intelligence (AI). It also provides an international and interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the emerging trends, innovations, challenges and opportunities with AI in education. The main themes of this conference include the following areas but not limited to:


    Conceptual frameworks for integrating education and AI

    Implementation strategies for education and AI

    AI in various educational contexts

    AI for different teaching and learning purposes

    Curriculum, pedagogy and assessment of AI in education

    Design and development of AI-enhanced learning environments

    Evaluation and analysis of teaching and learning with AI

    Experiences in AI technologies for education

    Legal, ethical and psychological aspects of education and AI

    Trends, issues and challenges in education and AI 


We welcome abstracts on all topics related to education and AI. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Proceedings. Authors of selected abstracts will be invited to submit full papers for a special issue of refereed journals. The journals include but not limited to Journal of Educational Technology & Society, Journal of Computers in Education and International Journal of Mobile Learning and Organisation.

Early-bird abstract submission deadline: 24 July 2020 

Notification of acceptance: 1-2 weeks after submission


Early-bird registration deadline: 14 August 2020

Conference Dates: 9-11 November 2020
