Zhongchao Wei (1971.7 -), Bachelor of Physics, Beijing Normal University,
Doctor of Philosophy, Sun Yat-sen University, and Postdoctoral of the College of
Optics and Photonics & the Department of Chemistry,University of Central Florida.
In 2003, he joined the School of Information and Optoelectronic Science and
Engineering, South China Normal University, where he serves as lecturer,
associate professor and professor, successively. He had been engaged in the
experimental research of ultrafast laser spectrum and photonic crystal for
years. In recent years, he focuses on the research of artificial nanostructure
materials, the contents include but are not limited to: (1) characteristics of optical
metamaterials. (2) mechanism of optical metasurfaces. (3) physical properties of
graphene and graphene-based optical devices; (4) electromagnetically induced
transparency effect and generalized Snell law. He has presided over and participated
in more than ten national scientific research projects, published more than 70 SCI
papers, and is the reviewer of academic journals such as Photonics Research,
Optics Letters and Optics Express.
