My name is Liang Yan. I received the B.S. degree in automation control, the M.S. degree in signal and information processing, and the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from Guangdong University of Technology, China, in 2002, 2005, and 2017 respectively. My research interests include image processing, face recognition, emotion recognition, and computer network.

In 2005, I joined the school of software, South China Normal University, China. I am now a lecturer. I am focusing on three research areas: 1) face recognition, 2) emotion recognition, 3) 3D face reconstruction.
